Larry L. Smith III, age 32, of Keithsburg, Illinois; passed away at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois on August 28, 2021. Larry was born on September 23, 1988 in Springfield, Illinois and is the son of Larry Lee and Olive Lynette Tanner Smith. Larry Lee has always been a special needs person and loved to go camping and the outdoors. Most important to him was his family and he has always loved a good campfire and his hammock. He is survived by his mother, Olive Smith of Keithsburg, Illinois and his sister, Brittany Rosendahl of Tremont, Illinois. His nephew Liam Rosendahl also is surviving in Tremont, Illinois. He is preceded in his death by his father and his grandparents.
Cremation rites are being accorded Larry L. Smith and no services or visitation are currently being planned by his family locally. His ashes are to be interred in Oak Ridge Cemetery with his father at a later date. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of his care locally.
