Lennie E. Bell, 60, of Kirkwood, IL passed away at  6:03 am, Friday, August 6, 2021 at his home.

Lennie was born May 15, 1961 in Monmouth, IL the son of Welby Eugene and Mary Lois (Sage) Bell.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth attending Monmouth High School.

Lennie married Antonia Rodriguez in Monmouth on March 19, 1980.

Lennie worked for at Western Stoneware, Mach 1, IMI and most recently Brownlee, Inc. in Kirkwood installing gutters and foam insulation.

He enjoyed fishing, animals, spending time with his grandchildren and collecting treasures. He was an avid Dinosaur hunter with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his longtime significant other of 22 years, Diane Bowman of Kirkwood, IL; his sons, Chad Bell of Monmouth, IL,  Nickolas (Trisha) Bell of Oquawka, IL, and Nicholas (Heidi) Ross of Monmouth, IL; his daughters, Trista Goodell, Heather (Jason Almaguer) Mason and Dawn (Mark Crain) Mason all of Monmouth, IL; 7 granddaughters, Sierra Bell, Olyvia Bell, Shelby Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Yuriktzi Bell, Maxine Ross and Adelyn Almaguer all of Monmouth, IL; 8 grandsons, Justin Wallace of Kirkwood, IL, Seth Ross of Washington, Caleb Porter, Gavin Bell and Cayden Bell all of Monmouth, IL, William Bell of Roseville, IL, Xavier Seely and Zaiden Seely both of Oquawka, IL; 2 great granddaughters, Arabella Wallace and Tahlia Wallace both of Alexis, IL  6 sisters, Alyce Hall of Monmouth, IL, Sharon (Chet) Gorman of Monmouth, IL,  Alice Friday of Adair, IL,  Joyce (David) Malcom of Monmouth, IL, Bonnie Powell of Muncie, IN and Laurie (Leo) Ramos of Monmouth, IL; 2 brothers, Darrel “Butch” (Martha) Crain of Kirkwood, IL and Randy (Barb) Bell of Monmouth, IL, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Allen Crain and Lewis Bell.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will take place at Carman Cemetery, Carman, IL.  Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorials will be given to the Lennie E. Bell Memorial Fund.
