ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougar Football on Pause Due to COVID-19 Issues Within the Program

From a post on the ROWVA School District Facebook page, the Knox County Health Department has discovered a COVID-19 outbreak within ROWVA/Williamsfield varsity football program. Varsity football activities have been paused and individuals needing to be quarantined are being contacted by the health department. At this time, the R-W Community Meet the Cougars Night for Friday night will be cancelled. The season-opening game at Abingdon-Avon is in jeopardy, as well. As of now, no postponements or cancellations have been announced.
