MTC Communications Continues Fiber Network and Broadband Services Expansion into Rural Communities

Share

Despite facing some supply chain issues, MTC Communications has continued to expand their McDonough telephone, fiber network and broadband services to several communities in the local area, says Marketing Director Rachel Kerns:

“We recently converted our 100% copper to fiber to the home conversion in Swan Creek. We have a couple other areas, McDonough Telephone wise, that we are working on; Littleton, we are currently working on Raritan, Smithshire, Adair, and Bardolph. So anyone in there we are working on converting over to our fiber network. On the MTC Communications side, we recognize a huge need in the community for that reliable broadband service. Our main builds this year have been in Elvaston and Oquawka, going a little east out of town along the highway. We have also completed other fiber builds in Hamilton and Carthage, being big ones, and Biggsville, Roseville, and Stronghurst.
