Monmouth-Roseville Football Improves to 5-0 in Conference after a 46-6 Win over Riverdale

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans travelled to Port Byron and defeated the Riverdale Rams 46-6. The Monmouth-Roseville defense swarmed the Rams and created 4 turnovers throughout the game with Jerome Jackson and Derek Chandler both garnering an interception. On offense, the Titans had multiple players score in the end zone including a 65-yard touchdown pass from Silas Braun to Jerome Jackson. Jackson had 3 touchdown’s, Derek Chandler had 2 touchdowns, and CJ Johnson had 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion. The Titans now improve to 5-0 in the 3 Rivers Conference and 6 and 1 overall. There only loss was to Kewanee in week 1 play. The Titans will play Erie-Prophetstown on Friday, October 15th for 1st place in the conference. The game can be heard on Sunny 97.7 WMOI next Friday night with Shawn Temple and Jeff Ewing.
