The annual Medicare Part D open enrollment period is underway and will run through December 7 this year, during which time eligible seniors can join, switch, or drop their prescription drug plans.
Strom Center Executive Director Carol McCreery and her staff are ready to answer questions, as well as enroll and re-enroll those who are eligible to participate.
“By switching plans, we saved persons in Henderson and Warren counties $1.3 million in payments,” McCreery said. “Some of those savings were as high as $10,000 or $15,000 for the year. There’s so many variables that enter into what plan makes the most sense for you.
“We try to put it all together and find the best plan possible for each person that comes to see us.”
