The Strom Center’s annual “Power for Seniors” event — scheduled for Thursday, December 9th — will again this year feature a drive-through meal, as well as drawings for various gifts and gift cards provided by the Monmouth Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 265.

Strom Center Executive Director Carol McCreery shares details of the event:

“The Fraternal Order of Police are awesome,” McCreery said. “They are the ones who provide for this event, for the meal, for the Ameren gift cards, hams, and they also collect donations.”

Reservations are due by November 30. Call the Strom Center at (309) 734-5677 to reserve your meal.

Free A1C Screening: The Strom Center, in conjunction with OSF Holy Family HealthCare, will offer Diabetes/A1C screening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10th.

Strom Center Executive Director Carol McCreery encourages seniors to take advantage of this free screening:
