WCHD Administrator Jenna Link Says COVID Numbers are Trending in the Right Direction

Share

COVID-19 numbers in Warren County are looking better according to Warren County Health Department Administrator Jenna Link. Since holding steady over the recent weeks, last week a significant decline was seen in which numbers are trending in the right direction. Administrator Link breaks down the ICU availability:

“We like to see that ICU availability at 20% or higher. Last week, week 41, which would have been about mid-October, it was pretty critical; it was down to like 13.7%, which was not good. That is slowly coming back. What we have seen though, those that end up in the ICU are there for quite a while, so it takes a while to see that number look better even when our cases improve.”

Link says that 56% of those 12 and up that are eligible in Warren County to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are full vaccinated.
