Share

Over 300 eligible children from birth to age fourteen receive gifts through the Jamieson Community Center Christmas Store or the Angel Tree, sponsored by Midwest Bank. Executive Director Nancy Mowen says the generous donations are made possible through the community wide effort:

“We have donation drives going on around the community. Smithfield is doing a toy drive for us. We have a hat and glove drives going on at many of the churches. We have a church that has collected books for us. We have a church that is making handmade blankets. We also have a PEO Chapter that is collecting blankets for us. This is just such a community wide effort.”

The application deadline for the Jamieson Community Christmas store is Wednesday, November 24th.
