Friday, November 19th from 5 to 7 pm, the streets of downtown Stronghurst will be filled with holiday cheer during their annual Christmas Open House. Stronghurst Booster Club member Jim Blender highlights the family fun events taking place:
“We will have all kinds of activities. The school band and chorus will be singing. Santa Claus will be there. Rob Hull will be singing in the Senior Citizen Center and Joyful Sounds will be at H&H Feed. We will have dancing elves downtown and all the businesses of course will have free food and refreshments for people. In addition, we are going to have train rides for the kiddos. We will have Amish wagon rides and Ellen May will be there with her pies as well as Hershberger’s Bakery. All the businesses will probably have discounts as well for people and so forth like that.”
The Stronghurst Booster Club will also be hosting a Lighted Christmas Parade on Friday, December 3rd at 5:30 pm.
