Take Charge of Your Health with the University of Illinois Extension

Learn to thrive and not just survive with ongoing health conditions through the virtual ‘Take Charge of Your Health’ program with the University of Illinois Extension. Family Life Extension Educator Tessa Hobbs-Curley says the virtual series will take place over six weeks on Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 pm beginning today, November 3rd:

“Really it is focusing on discovering healthy ways to live with chronic conditions. It is that alone and makes sense why the classes are so long. It is a curriculum that we use and is research based. Individuals will meet virtually, so online, you don’t have to go anywhere or get out of your house, but we do ask that you register ahead of time.”

Registration can be completed online at http://extension.illinois.edu/events and scrolling for ‘Take Charge of Your Health.’
