United Red Storm Boys Basketball Gets Season Underway at ROWVA/Williamsfield Invitational

The United Red Storm boys basketball team started their season with a 73-57 loss to Riverdale on Monday night in the opening night of ROWVA/Williamsfield Invitational. Junior Abel Wilson lead the way for United scoring 27 points, including five 3-pointers. Head coach Doug Dennison is looking to get the squad back in the gym and continue to find an identity of his ballclub.

United will play Henry-Senachwine tonight at 6:30 in the second day of the Rowva-Williamsfield Thanksgiving tournament. Henry is coming off of a 52-33 victory over West Central. United looks to bounce back tonight, especially on the defensive end, as well as rebounding.

Head coach Mike Kelley and his West Central Heat start the night at Williamsfield High School with match up with Galva at 5:00. A pair of (1-0) teams battle in the final game at 8:00, with Riverdale and ROWVA/Williamsfield starting at 8:00.
