United Red Storm Football Coach David Milroy Reflects on Successful Season

Share

The United Red Storm football team ended their season last Saturday afternoon on a muddy field in Gilman, Illinois with a loss to the Iroquois West Raiders. It was the first playoff appearance for the Red Storm since 2015. United head coach David Milroy says after the season got off to a rough start at (1-3), he was proud of the way the team responded with five straight wins to earn themselves a postseason berth. Milroy said the turnaround was due, in part, to the senior leadership and the entire roster’s willingness to do whatever it takes to win. He hopes the successful season will spark a resurgence of consistent success for the football program.
