Busy weekend on the PCSN for high school basketball–

Friday-

The United Red Storm take on the Ridgewood Spartans boys with the United Boys Basketball Holiday Tournament championship on the line. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30. Our AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM pregame show will start at around 7:15.

Saturday-

We’ll have three of the seven total scheduled games at the Great Western Shootout at Abingdon-Avon High School on the PCSN, starting with the (6-4) Monmouth-Roseville boys basketball game against (7-1) Cerro Gordo/Bement. CGB has been led 6-6 senior Connor Brown, who averages 29 points and 9 rebounds a game for the Broncos. That game can be heard on Sunny 97.7 WMOI with the pregame show starting at 12:15.

Our final two games on the PCSN tomorrow will be the final two games of the day from the Shootout. Tune into AM 1330 WRAM at 6:15 for the (6-3) Abingdon-Avon Tornado girls basketball game against (7-6) Macomb. The Tornadoes were one of the preseason favorites in their first year in the Lincoln Trail Conference and the Bombers, now head coached by former Monmouth-Roseville basketball standout and former West Central Heat girls basketball coach, Jackson Kane. Macomb has won four games in a row after a (3-6) start to the season.

Directly after that game has completed, stay on WRAM for the (4-6) Abingdon-Avon boys game against Flanagan Cornell at around 7:45 for the pregame show. A-Town also has a new man in charge of the program in Cory Link.

All three games can be found online at radiomonmouth.com or on our free WRAM or WMOI apps for your smartphone or tablet by downloading them from your Google Play or Apple App Stores.
