Every dollar makes a difference. Donations through Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society help fund cancer research, patient care programs, and make a difference locally in the community. Senior Development Manager Stacey Dutton says fundraising events do not have to be just during relay season as teams can be formed at any time:
“Our 2022 website is up and running, http://relayforlife.org/whil. We have Warren and Henderson County joining in efforts into the main event. Teams can sign up at any time. Registration is free. There is no limit on the number of team members that you have. We have a couple of teams already returning for the coming year. We encourage people to register early and then maybe fundraise a little bit each month. You don’t have to wait until a month before our summer event to do that.”
The Warren-Henderson Relay for Life event held at Sunny Lane Field is slated for Saturday, June 4th of 2022.
