Kickstart the New Year Off Healthy at the Warren County YMCA

It’s all about teamwork during the Warren County YMCA’s 2022 New Year’s Fitness Challenge. Healthy Living Director Staci Bass informs starting Monday, January 3rd, groups of up to three will begin competing for the most accumulated miles over a six-week time frame:

“So, this challenge, say you don’t have three people, you can have less, but one to three people on a team. You are basically doing very simple things, run or walk, bike or swim. Any of those movements you will track how many miles you do. That team within the six-week frame that does the most accumulative miles will be our little champion for the New Year. Also, I want to throw it out there, it is not always about who wins, but if this is the motivation you need to get moving, it is a good way to get moving.”

Registration forms and complete rules are available at the YMCA’s front desk and must be turned in by January 3rd. The six-week fitness challenge will conclude on February 13th. Cost is $75 per team.
