Macomb Police Department Arrests Two Individuals Involved in Burglaries

On 9/13/2021, the Macomb Police Department was called out to investigate a series of residential burglaries where the suspect had entered the victims’ homes while they were asleep. After investigators processed the scene, forensic evidence was able to link Andrew Fought (25) of Macomb to the crime.

On 11/02/21, Fought was detained without incident and charged with Burglary (one count), Criminal Damage to Property (one count), Criminal Trespass to Residence, and Theft (one count).

On 10/30/2021, the Macomb Police Department investigated a series of burglaries from automobiles, where the suspect had gained access through unlocked car doors. After investigators processed the scene, forensic evidence linked Lane Scott (27) Macomb to the crime.

On 11/30/21, Scott was lodged at the McDonough County Jail for a separate incident. Scott was also charged with two counts of burglary following the investigation by MPD detectives.
