Monmouth-Roseville Girls Basketball Hosting LACE UP 4 PEDIATRIC CANCER NIGHT on Saturday, Jan. 29th

After falling to state ranked Illini West, the Monmouth-Roseville girls basketball team has rattled off 3 huge wins. The Titans bounced back with a victory over Erie-Prophetstown 47-25. Monmouth-Roseville executed a great defensive game-plan, and made the necessary adjustments needed to capture the victory. The Titans then battled a handful of injuries, but relied on strong contributions from the bench in order to earn a hard-fought victory over Farmington. Monmouth-Roseville followed that up with a huge victory over Kewanee in a Three Rivers Conference cross-divison match up, defeating the Boilermakers 66-23. Head coach Scott Weber believes his team knows what it will take to be successful going forward.

Monmouth-Roseville will host Rockridge on Thursday for Senior Night. The Titans hope to get off to a stronger start shooting the ball, as well as execute their gameplan throughout the contest. Monmouth-Roseville will also host Orion on Saturday as part of their “Lace It Up for Pediactric Cancer Night”. There will be a free will donation bake sale and t-shirts will be available at the game, as well.
