4 Additional COVID-19 Related Deaths Reported in Warren County; 247 Positive Cases

The Warren County Health Department is confirming 4 additional COVID-19 related deaths. The individuals
were two males between ages of 40-60, one male between the ages of 60-80 and one male between the ages of
80-100. Our deepest sympathy goes out to family and friends. We continue to urge our community to do what
you can to slow the spread of the virus and to get vaccinated.

The Warren County Health Department is announcing 247 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease
(COVID-19), bringing the total cases to 3422. 3208 cases have had their symptoms resolve. Due to federal
privacy restrictions, release of any additional information is prohibited. To date there have been 76 confirmed
COVID-19 related deaths.

County level COVID-19 metrics for Week 1 from January 2 – January 8, 2022 for Warren County indicate we
still have high community transmission. IDPH uses numerous indicators when determining warning signs of
increased risk in the county. A county is considered at a warning level when at least two of the following metrics
trigger a warning.

Warren County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics for those ages 12+ will be held on
January 21st, and 28th from 9-12 by appointment only. Pediatric Pfizer clinics for ages 5-11 will be
January 19th from 2-5 by appointment only. The clinics will be located at the Warren County Health
