Alice M. McCollum 93, of Smithshire passed away on January 13, 2022, at the Addington Place. She was born on September 9, 1928 in Smithshire IL, the daughter of John and Ruby (Rosenbalm) Casteel. She married Lloyd McCollum on December 4, 1947 in Kirkwood IL, he preceded her in death on August 18, 1997.

Alice is survived by her children; Glen (Linda) McCollum of Mt Pleasant, Wayne (Lynn) McCollum of Bend OR, Grandchildren Shelly (Mark) Masterson, Jennifer (Aron) Barnes, Beth (Sheldon) Ohringer, Erik (Susan) Selzer, 6 great grandchildren and one sister Marge Thomas of Smithshire.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, three brothers, and one sister

She enjoyed her family and her church. She liked to sew and decorating cakes. She enjoyed enjoying her morning coffee with her friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville. Friends may call prior to the service. Burial will be held at Ellison Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Smithshire Fire Department.
