Burlington man arrested for staying in a home in Carman

Henderson County Sheriff Donald Seitz reports on 01/03/2022 at 3:47PM, Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the Village of Carman to investigate a report of a person staying in a home without permission. After a search of the residence, the suspect was located in the residence and placed into custody without incident. Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Christian M. Nichols of Burlington, IA, age: 21 for Burglary.Nichols was transported to the Henderson County Jail. After arriving at the jail, Nichols was processed and then placed into jail, awaiting for a court appearance for a bail hearing. Burglary is a NO BOND felony charge and Nicholas has to be seen in front of a Judge for a bond hearing. Nichols was also arrested on a Henderson County FTA-Warrant for Criminal Trespass to Property. Nichols is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
