Edna L. “Pat” Fowlks 78, of Avon passed away on January 28, 2022 at 11:30 am in Avon. She was born on October 6, 1943 the daughter of Forrest and Hazel (Hoover) Johnson in Kewanee IL. She married Charlie E. Fowlks on September 9, 1966, he preceded her in death on March 22, 2013.

She is survived by her children; Todd (Jill) Fowlks of Bushnell, Patricia Mills of Delavan WI, Charles Fowlks of Avon, Barbara Pool of Avon, and 3 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Nick and son-in-law Rob Mills.

She was raised in Andover and she went to Orion High School. She liked to crochet and fish with her husband. Pat also loved to garden. She loved spending time with her dog Airel. Pat worked at Galesburg Research Hospital and later at Zellers until she retired.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Avon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Online condolence may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com Wise Family Funeral Home, Avon is in charge of arrangements.
