Several important games are ahead on the PCSN basketball broadcast schedule. On Thursday, Jan. 27, the Monmouth-Roseville Titan girls basketball team will host Rockridge Rockets at Monmouth-Roseville High School. The Titans are (19-4) overall and (5-1) in the TRAC West Division. The Rockets, who have two victories over the Titans already this season, are (18-6) overall and (6-2) in the West Division. The two losses have come to division leader, Sherrard (17-6) (8-1). The Titans have a win at Sherrard earlier this season and will host the Tigers on February 3rd. Our AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM and radiomonmouth.com pregame show will hit the air immediately following the JV game at around 6:45. It’s also senior night for Monmouth-Roseville.

Our Friday PCSN broadcast will also come from Monmouth-Roseville High School. The Titan boys basketball team will welcome the Kewanee Boilermakers (14-8) to town for a TRAC cross-division match up. The Boilermakers are currently leading the East Division at (7-1). The Titans (14-8) (5-2) are a game behind Riverdale (7-1) in the West, but have dropped both division games to the Rams. Tomorrow’s game between the Titans and Boilermakers can be heard on Sunny 97.7 WMOI or online at radiomonmouth.com with the pregame show starting at around 6:45. It’s also senior night for Monmouth-Roseville.

We’ll have our first college basketball broadcasts on the PCSN on Saturday afternoon. The Monmouth College Fighting Scots welcome in their local Midwest Conference rivals, Knox College, to Glennie Gymnasium on the Monmouth College campus. The men will play first at 1:00, so our AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM and radiomonmouth.com pregame show will start at 12:45. The Fighting Scots women are (5-1) in league play and will enter Saturday’s game coming off their first MWC loss of the season on Wednesday night. The Scots trail league leader Ripon College (7-1) by a game in the standings. We’ll have both games on the PCSN, with the women’s broadcast immediately following the men’s game.

Later on Saturday night, the PCSN will be back at Monmouth-Roseville High School for a TRAC West Division makeup game between the Lady Titans and the Orion Chargers. Besides a divisional match up, it will be Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer Fundraiser Night. The varsity game is scheduled to start at 6:30, therefore our AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM pregame show will start at around 6:15.
