Monmouth College SID Nathan Baliva Says Covid-19 Surge Has Greatly Impacted Scots Sports Schedules

Nathan Baliva, Sports Information Director at Monmouth College, stopped by the WRAM Morning Show on Monday morning for his weekly update of Fighting Scots sports. Baliva said the impact of the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic has had a big impact on the sports schedule. The college is going remote learning for the next several days casuing several events on the upcoming schedule to be canceled. Sports affected include Men and Women’s basketball, track, and swimming.

The basketball teams look to have their first home games on the 22nd with games against Lawrence for the men and women’s teams, but for now their is uncertainity as schedule makers try to work around and make the best situation for all teams in the area.
