Monmouth-Roseville Boys Basketball Hopes to Continue Hot Streak Against Kewanee

The Monmouth-Roseville boys basketball team has rattled off 3 straight victories since a loss to TRAC West Division leading Riverdale. The Titans started the streak with a 51-30 victory over Sherrard last Friday. Monmouth-Roseville followed that up with a victory over Orion on the road 52-39 in makeup game on Monday. The Titans then scored a 42-28 home victory over Erie-Prophetstown 42-28 on Tuesday. Head coach Jake Sottos enjoys the unselfish way his team has continued to play during this succesful stretch.

Monmouth-Roseville will host Kewanee tonight as part of Senior Night in a Three Rivers Conference cross-divison matchup. Monmouth-Roseville trails division leading Riverdale by a game in the standings, while Kewanee is on top of the East Division by a game and a half over Sterling Newman. The Titans have 8 seniors and their parents that will be honored during halftime of the JV game at around 6:00. Our Sunny 97.7 WMOI and radiomonmouth.com pregame show will start at 6:45 with tipoff slated for 7:00.
