Coming off a nearly 3 week break between games, the United Red Storm girls basketball suffered two Lincoln Trail Conference losses this past week. The Red Storm fell to West Central by a score of 36-25 and Ridgewood 44-35. Head coach Lisa Coleman is proud of the effort demonstrated by her squad in those two contests and believes they are beginning to show confidence.

United enters the 12-school conference tournament with an overall record of (7-9) and will kick off pool play tonight at Stark County High School in Toulon. The Red Storm earned a program-high 6th seed in the tournament and will take on the Galva Wildcats. United has already garnered two wins over the Wildcats this season. Coleman is proud of the fact that the rest of the coaches views her ballclub as one of the teams in the upper half of the conference this season.
