Dame Fine Coffee Celebrating 1 Year in Monmouth, Expanding into Galesburg

Share

Celebrating one year in the Monmouth community on February 9th, Dame Fine Coffee will be expanding into Galesburg with two locations opening March 1st and plans of moving into the Burlington area in the near future. Along with several other businesses locally, owner Dillon Vancil has dealt with supply chain concerns and inflation costs:

“Products are getting easier to find, but unfortunately pricing is not coming down at all. We deal with the problem whether we can get the supplies or not. A lot of problem is with plastic. We are at the point if you can find it, now it may cost you double what it used to six months ago, but at least we are able to get it at this point. Just an example, our plastic cups that we serve with cold drinks, we used to pay $50 to $60 a case for them and now they are over $100. It has been quite the rollercoaster this last six to eight months.”

Dame Fine Coffee will be conducting open interviews this Saturday, February 5th from 2-5 pm at the AmericInn in Monmouth for baristas at the Monmouth and Galesburg locations.
