The bi-annual Midwest Bank Ag Seminar in coordination with WRAM radio will be held on Friday, March 4th from 8 a.m.- Noon at the Monmouth Country Club. This year’s seminar includes a severe weather outlook and mitigating weather risk in production agriculture featuring Andrew Pritchard from Nutrien Ag Solutions. Ken Quinn, Assistant Vice President of Commercial and Ag Lending with Midwest Bank tells us more about Pritchard:
“Two decades of documenting tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms and has licensed his work with the Weather Channel, Discovery Channel, CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX.”
Also on tap for the seminar is keynote speaker Mike Pearson who is the daily host of America on Agriculture which airs nationwide as well as on WRAM weekdays from 11 am- Noon. Commercial Ag Lender Madison Nallery says Pearson will take us on an entertaining journey:
“We will have our guest speaker Mike Pearson. Mike was born and raised in southcentral Iowa where he grew to love agriculture on his family’s hog and cattle farm. He previously hosted Market to Market and currently you can find him behind the desk on This Week in Agribusiness with Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson. He is going to take us on an entertaining journey and look ahead on the outlook of the farm markets and global trends impacting these markets.”
RSVP’s can be made by calling Midwest Bank at 309 734 2265 and ask for Connie or Katie.
