The Monmouth-Roseville High School Performing Arts Department will present its spring musical, MAMMA MIA!, on March 18 and 19 at 7:00pm and March 20 at 2:00pm at the Monmouth-Roseville High School Auditorium.

Featuring the music of ABBA, Mamma Mia tells the story of Sophie, a young woman on the verge of marriage who only wants one thing – her father to walk her down the aisle. The only problem is that she doesn’t know who her father is. After taking a peek at her mother’s diary, Sophie finds there are three likely candidates – Sam, Bill, or Harry. Without telling her mom, Sophie invites all three to her wedding, hoping that the instant she lays eyes on her father, she’ll know.

The cast includes seniors Jodi Barry-Osterhagen (Ali), Kendall Ferry (Sophie), Allie Lewis (Tanya), Zayda Martin (Sister Alexandra), Mary-Isabel Newcomb (Rosie), Leslie Quintana (Donna), Timberlee Smith (Ensemble), Tanner Trego (Bill), and Ricky Warren (Eddie); juniors Mo Bennett (Ensemble), Wesly DeFrietes (Pepper), Sara Grady (Ensemble), Hollis Narkiewicz (Sam), and Collin Nuckles (Harry); sophomores Chrissy Bennett (Ensemble), Mercy Bennett (Ensemble), Essence Brown (Ensemble), Bright Doh (Ensemble), Kyaw Htoo (Ensemble), Bella Merritt (Ensemble), Mateo Murphy (Ensemble), and Lorelai Weidman (Ensemble); and freshmen Matthew Blackford (Sky), Tearanee Love (Lisa), and Jennika Raymond (Ensemble). Sophomore Emerson Martin serves as the assistant director. The show is directed by Melissa Agar with music direction by Kevin Ferry and choreography by Heather Whan. Lisa Hallen will conduct the orchestra.

Tickets for Mamma Mia are $10 for adults and $5 for students with ID.  Children under six are admitted free.

Mamma Mia is produced with special arrangement by Musical Theater International.
