The Monmouth/Roseville Titans hosted the Rockridge Rockets on Tuesday night in a rematch between conference foes from last week. In the JV game the Titans fell 52–44. The Titans played the Rockets much closer after being blown out a week earlier. This was a game of runs as the game was a back and forth affair that Rockridge had the last run in. Scoring for the Titans was Martwan Butler with 15 followed by Darrion Smith with 12. Also scoring were Jake Steele and Tyler Finnicum each with 6 while Nico Avendano added 5. In the Varsity contest the Titans were hoping to play off the momentum they got in an overtimeloss to the Rockets just last week. The Titans did come out ready as they jumped to an early 7-0 lead in the first and hung onto a 12-11 lead after one behind 6 from Jerome Jackson and 4 from Logan Bratcher. But a strong man to man defense forced the Titans out of their comfort zone and into numerous turnovers and the Titan offense really struggled the rest of the evening. Rockridge would open up a 24-20 halftime lead and then controlled the second half running away with a 50-30 victory. Leading the way was Jerome Jackson with 9 followed by Ben Anderson with 6, Logan Bratcher with 4. Caleb Copeland added 3, CJ Johnson, Connor Thompson and Charlie Fletcher all had 2. Max Cole and Derek Chandler each had 1. The Titans will travel to Macomb on Thursday night for their last regular season game.
