Macomb Police Investigating Treat of Violence Made at Junior High

The Macomb Police Department School Resource Officer was alerted to a threat of violence at Macomb Junior High.  An investigation was conducted which resulted in the arrest of a 13-year-old Macomb Junior High student for Disorderly Conduct.  The juvenile was taken to the Mary Davis Home in Galesburg, IL and is awaiting a court hearing.  There is no active threat to students or staff in the Macomb Schools.
