Monmouth-Roseville Boys Basketball Gets TRAC West Division Road Win at Sherrard

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans traveled up highway 67 on Tuesday night to take on the Sherrard Tigers. The Titans used strong defense to get a 46-32 victory. Sherrard got the early lead as the Titans started a bit slow. Jerome Jackson had 5 and Logan Bratcher 4 in the first as the Titans rebounded to lead 12-11 after one. A 10-8 second quarter advantage stretched the Titan lead to 22-19 at the half. Logan Bratcher had 4 in the quarter to lead the Titans. The Titans began to pull away in the third as Conner Thompson had 5 and Ben Anderson 4 as the visitors led 36-27 after three. The Titans defense held Sherrard to just 5 fourth quarter points and Jerome Jackson had 5 and teammate Derek Chandler added 4 as the Titans grabbed the conference win. Leading the Titans was Jerome Jackson with 12 followed by Derek Chandler with 10. Logan Bratcher added 8, Conner Thompson 6 while CJ Johnson and Ben Anderson had 5 each.
