After Successful 2021 Season, United Red Storm Baseball Carrying High Expectations Into the Spring

After not getting a chance to play in the 2019-2020 school year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the United Red Storm baseball team came back with a vengeance last year, going (20-3) in the shortened schedule, tying the school record for wins in a season. The season also included the program’s first regional championship since the consolidated school district began in 2004. Head Coach Ryan Molek enters his 9th year, with eight full seasons, as the head coach of the United Red Storm varsity baseball team. He hopes to accrue his 100th win as a high school head coach early in the season, as he currently sits at 92 victories. Molek says his goal is to put a consistent, winning product on the field, year in, year out.

With the addition of Knoxville and Abingdon-Avon to the Lincoln Trail Conference this year, the LTC schedule has changed quite a bit. Molek went on to give an update on the changes.

Should be a great race for the Lincoln Trail Conference West Division title.
