Bardolph man charged with home invasion

On March 26, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m. the McDonough County Communications Center received a call stating that a home invasion had occurred 203 West Green Street in Bardolph, IL. The caller stated that Brandon Whiteman had kicked down the door and then refused to leave the residence. The victim stated that Brandon Whiteman then left the area in a blue car.

McDonough County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene and was able to locate the blue car and Brandon A. Whiteman, 21, of Bardolph, IL at his residence. Whiteman was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Damage and Felony Criminal Trespass to a Residence. Whiteman was taken to the McDonough County Jail and posted $2,500.00 cash bond on March 27, 2022.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
