OSF HealthCare is well underway in constructing a comprehensive cancer center in Peoria informs St. Mary and Holy Family Medical Center President and CEO Lisa DeKezel:

“That is important to our Galesburg and Monmouth communities because that is going to provide access to the latest technologies rivaling such spaces as Mayo or even St. Louis or some of the other really top-notch cancer programs in the nation. We are going to have access to that same level of care out of Peoria. I think that is just an incredible thought if you think about that for our Midwest, even in the Midwest in general, but certainly the state of Illinois and our region here to have that at your fingertips.”

Furthermore, DeKezel shares OSF HealthCare is working to recruit a third provider for the Holy Family campus in Monmouth to work alongside Dr. Carrier and Dr. Basheer.
