The City of Galesburg has committed to funding four new business incentive programs that will utilize a portion of their received American Recovery Plan Act Funds says Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:

“Two of these programs are designed to help accelerate minority business startups. There is a program that is targeted to reduce commercial vacancies on the south side of Galesburg. Then the fourth program is a pilot program for urban agriculture.”

Application details for the new program are still being finalized. More information can be found online at http://knoxpartnership.com.
