Geraldeen A. Mejia, 75, of Monmouth, Il passed away at 1:29 pm, Friday, March 11, 2022 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.

Geri was born July 29, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Helen ( Skrobisz ) Goralczyk

Geri married Rick Mejia in 1969.

Geri worked as a comptroller for the Everflora Company in Chicago. She was an avid antique dealer and loved her pets.

Survivors include her husband Rick Mejia of Monmouth, beloved children, Scott Mejia of Austin, TX, Tamra Mejia of Tennessee; her beloved step-daughters, Sally (Jaime) Oceguera of Plainfield, IL, Linda Mejia of Addison, IL; grandchildren, Jaime (Joanna) Oceguera, Jr., Christopher Oceguera, Phillip Oceguera, Amanda Mejia and one sister, Michaleen “Micki” Marks of Alden, IL. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Corrine Kucharski; and her brother-in-law, Jim Marks.
