Judith K. “Judy” Knisely, 78, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

She was born April 17, 1943 and spent her life in the Knox and Warren County area.

Surviving is her husband, Tracy Knisely; step-daughters, Sally Swanson and Lisa Knisely; step-grandchildren, John Land, Dan Land, Cassey Swanson, Jennifer Hutchings, and Missy Garcia; sister, Linda (Kenney) Harmison; and brother, Larry Heady.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mabel Heady; husband, Harold Gardner; step-daughter, Julie Land; and brother, Gerald Heady.

Judy spent much of her life on the farm at Coldbrook.  She enjoyed corresponding with family and friends, was an accomplished China painter, and loved the grandkids and many pets.

She was a member of Coldbrook Christian Church and felt honored to serve many years as an elder.

Cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Coldbrook Christian Church.  Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rick Warren officiating.  Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to the Coldbrook Christian Church.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
