At the recent Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education meeting, the board approved an updated Return to Learn plan for the district, says Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Within that, it is basically back to normal except for kids who test positive for COVID. We are mask optional everywhere. We are mask optional on buses, mask optional in the buildings; so, it is really just following those IDPH rules and that’s it. We felt that it was important to have a backdrop, a starting point, but as things progressed, it proved to be very beneficial to have that mask optional plan in place because we had something to fall back to.”

As of the end of last week, Fletcher reports there were zero positive cases within the district and seven students were in quarantine.
