Mark L. Kenney, 60, of North Henderson, IL passed away at 12:20 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home.

Mark was born October 3, 1961 in Aledo, IL the son of Lyle Laverne and LeVeta Jane (Baker) Kenney.  He was raised and educated in Alexis and attended Alexis High School.

Mark was a painter his whole life and later was the owner and operator of M & J Kenney Painting for many years.

Mark loved being outside, around the fire pit, playing horseshoes, hunting and partying with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Sarah (Jason) Horner of Kirkwood, Il, Markus Kenney of Milan, IL, Christopher (Kayla) Snow of Tampa, Fl, Nicholas (Lacy) Snow of Urbandale, IA, Rachel (Jason Norville) Kenney of Monmouth, Il and Jesse Kenney of Alexis, Il, 10 grandchildren; his sisters, Carol (Jim) Brown of Galesburg, IL and Jan Taylor of Roseville, Il and  his girlfriend of many years, Teresa Morrison of North Henderson, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jake Kenney; brother, Curtis Kenney and brother-in-law, Stan Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Monmouth American Legion on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 pm.  Cremation has been accorded.  Memorials may be given to the Mark Kenney Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
