Mildred A. “Midge” Bielser, 87, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 1:10 pm, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Legacy Estates in Monmouth, IL.

Midge was born February 21, 1935 in Little York, IL, the daughter of Lester and Edna (Fell) Earp. She was raised and educated in the Oquawka area graduating from G&O High School in 1953.

She married Earl Bielser on October 30, 1952 in Gladstone, IL.

Midge was a homemaker and her greatest joy was her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Bielser of Monmouth, IL; her children, Cindy Bielser of Monmouth, IL, Earl E. (Marcia) Bielser of Mason City, IL, and Frank (Deb) Bielser of Monticello, IL; grandchildren, Abby (Eric) Martinez, Ann (Nathan) Woodside, Elaina (Tyler) Kutz, Elyse (Caleb) Ervin, Elsa Bielser; great-grandchildren, Luke, Naomi, Lazarus, Bridget and Malachi Martinez, Greer and Hawkins Ervin and Callen Kutz and one brother, Wyatt (Della) Earp of Summerfield, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Weldon “Mick” Earp; half-sister, June Larimer; half-brother, Al Earp and half-sister, Jewel Earp.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
