Monmouth-Roseville Baseball Under New Leadership

Share

New Monmouth-Roseville baseball head coach Jordan Ball is excited to begin his first season as the head of the program. Ball played all 4 years for Monmouth College before graduating last spring. Through his first two years with Scots, had gotten a total of only two at-bats. His junior season was cut-short from the coronavirus pandemic. Ball kept his head down and worked hard in the off-season, especially in the weight room. That hard work paid off with a senior season at Monmouth that ended with Ball leading the Scots in doubles, triples, rbis and slugging percentage. He is hoping to teach the team to work hard in the classroom, as well as on the practice field. As far as the makeup of the Titans, there are a nice number of 32 kids in the program. Coach Ball hopes to get the team to buy in to his new approach going forward.

Due to two of their games being canceled this week, the Titans hope to begin their season with a doubleheader on Saturday at Sunny Lane Field in Monmouth starting at 11:00. The Titans are hoping to do the little things to give them the chance to capture victories this season, including their first year in the TRAC conference.
