Sandburg’s Eger Adds 2nd-Team All-Arrowhead Conference to List of Honors

Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball player Addison Eger (Mendon, Ill./Unity) has added another honor to her resume.

A week after being named to the All-Region IV Division II District A Team for the second consecutive year, the Chargers sophomore was voted Second-Team All-Arrowhead Conference by league coaches.

Against Arrowhead opponents, the 5-foot-9 guard led the Chargers with 18.3 points per game on 44 percent shooting (44 for 100) in six contests. She also tied for the team lead with 30 steals, shot 86 percent (18 of 21) from the free-throw line and averaged 4.8 rebounds per game.

Eger’s season was highlighted by a career-best 42 points on 18-of-32 shooting in Sandburg’s win Feb. 11 over Illinois Valley.
