Take a Journey with Nancy Stevens

Share

Whether you are interested in visual arts, theater productions, literary events, art classes, or gallery talks, the Buchanan Center for the Arts brings them all to life in downtown Monmouth. A special project ongoing at the BCA is Nancy’s Journey, a memoir by author Nancy Stevens. If you missed the book signing events, Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert informs copies are still available:

“Nancy Stevens wrote a memoir on her life. She is an advocate for those with physical and intellectual disabilities and she also is a breast cancer survivor. She is actively involved in our theater program, as well as the Good Gang, which is a program through Stone Hayes Center for Independent Living.”

Copies are available at the Buchanan Center free of charge. Also, you can place a bid on one of the original storyboards by Christopher Durdle, the illustrator for Nancy’s Journey. Auction winners will be announced on April 30th.
