Flip The Script

On Super Bowl Sunday, The Crossing Church in Monmouth decided to flip the script on the common perception of churches by donating money back to the community.  For each person in attendance at one of their Sunday morning services, the church donated $5 to the athletics department of their choice.  The Crossing committed to donating at least $25,000 across all 11 of their campuses.  Based on the over 230 people in attendance in Monmouth and some generous rounding by the church, they were able to donate $500 to Monmouth-Roseville Athletics and $1000 to United Athletics.  The Crossing is committed to being a part of this community and affecting it in a positive way whenever possible.  Services at The Crossing Monmouth are held every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 AM in what used to be the Armory.
