Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Henderson County

Henderson County Chief Deputy Matt Link releases the arrest of Cody L. Talley, age: 27 of Peoria, IL. On March 3rd, 2022 at 5:28PM, a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted an Illinois State Trooper with a traffic stop on US Rt. 34 at Township Road 1650E, near Biggsville. After an investigation, the Deputy arrested Talley, a passenger of the vehicle for Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis, 123 grams of cannabis. The Deputy also seized approximately $5000.00 in cash. The Deputy transported Talley to the Henderson County Jail, where he was processed and jailed. Talley was held on no bond felony charges and is pending a court hearing. Talley is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
