W-H Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong Says Rain Was Much Needed

Share

Roughly two inches of rain was seen locally last week. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong said the rain was much needed:

“I mean, I think it was a much-needed rain. We’ve got more moisture coming in the forecast. This is something if you have been listening to the weather analytics; they have been saying a potential wetter spring and potentially a dryer summer. Kind of looks like some of that is playing out. It is still a little early to get all worked up about it, but it is just something to keep in the back of your mind when you are making your fieldwork decisions, planting decisions that maybe those first couple of windows might be valuable because you don’t know when you will get back in the fields.”
