West Central FFA students were recognized for their accomplishments at the Lake Land Jr. College Livestock judging event this past Saturday. The students competing were:

–Jacob Ford: 2nd place Individual Overall in the Senior Division, 2nd in Sheep /Goats, 2nd in Questions, & 5th in Beef.

–Dexter Ricketts: 11th place Individual Overall in the Senior Division & 2nd in Beef.

The Senior team was 1st Place Team overall in the Contest and placed 1st in the Beef Division, 2nd in Sheep and Goats, and 2nd in Questions.

We are also proud to share that we currently have four students competing for their Teams and Individual status as IL All Americans in Livestock Judging: Ruby Gittings, Dayne Gittings, Jacob Ford, and Dexter Ricketts.

Achieving this status will be great scholarship and resume builders for these students, and we could not be prouder of all of their accomplishments and continued successes this year.
