William “Willy” Daniel Frank, 41, of Abingdon, passed away at 3:53 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

  He was born October 2, 1980 in Watertown, New York, the son of Karen Elizabeth Frank and William Getman.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Getman and his mother, Karen Elizabeth Limoges, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather, and an infant brother, Andrew Frank.

  William is survived by one brother, Lucas (and Tonya Morrison) Limoges of Abingdon; one niece, Aubrey Limoges and one nephew, Andrew Limoges; his grandmother, Jeanette Frank of the state of Virginia; his stepfather, Michael Limoges of Abingdon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

  He had lived in and around the Abingdon area the past 28 years.  He was a general laborer.  He was a free spirit and considered a “drifter” by many.  He loved listening to Rock-n-roll music and hanging out with friends.

  Cremation will be accorded.  His life will be celebrated privately by his family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is assisting his family with cremation arrangements.
