IL Dept. Of Revenue Reminds That the Tax Filing Deadline Is Quickly Approaching

The Illinois Department of Revenue is reminding that the income tax filing deadline is quickly approaching. You have until Monday, April 18th to get your return in, and taxpayers are strongly encouraged to file electronically. Department of Revenue Spokesperson Maura Kownacki says help is available.

“Taxpayers with last minute questions, we will have extended telephone hours on Friday, April 15th from 8 am to 7 pm and Monday, April 18th form 7:30 am to 7 pm.”
